Deputy Manager

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Deputy Manager to join the Ted Baker London team! As a Deputy Manager, you will provide operational and administrative support to the Manager and the rest of the team. Your experience and organizational skills will be invaluable in helping to ensure the smooth running of the store.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role in the retail industry. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain excellent customer service standards. You must be a team player, capable of working independently, and have the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee store operations on a daily basis and ensure that all team members adhere to company guidelines.
2. Provide support to the Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
3. Lead and motivate the team to ensure that targets are met and exceeded.
4. Monitor stock levels and take appropriate action to ensure store is adequately stocked.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
6. Schedule shifts, manage staffing levels, and provide performance feedback to staff.
7. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
8. Maintain accurate records of sales and other operational activities.
9. Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff.
10. Monitor store expenses and suggest cost-effective solutions.
