Supplier Development Engineer

TE Connectivity is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Supplier Development Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who loves working in a fast-paced environment and has an excellent eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and executing supplier development activities, including sourcing new suppliers, optimizing supplier performance, and supporting cost reduction initiatives.The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier development, quality, or engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering. The candidate should also be highly organized, have excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, and have a strong understanding of supplier and contract management. Responsibilities:

1. Source and qualify new suppliers, including conducting reviews of supplier capabilities, certifications, and quality systems.
2. Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with TE Connectivity requirements.
3. Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
4. Support cost reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement of supplier performance.
5. Manage supplier audits and ensure suppliers are meeting TE Connectivity standards.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
7. Track supplier performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
8. Develop and implement supplier development plans.
9. Support supplier development projects and initiatives.
10. Identify areas of improvement in the supplier development process and recommend changes.
