
Staff Process Development Engineer
TE Connectivity is looking for an experienced and driven Staff Process Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient processes with a focus on quality and cost. You will be expected to think creatively and use your knowledge of manufacturing processes to optimize production, reduce costs, and ensure quality across all operations.To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Additionally, you will have a solid understanding of applicable safety regulations and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You should also have a proven track record in process engineering, with at least five years of experience in a similar role.The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem-solver, with excellent analytical and organizational skills, and a good eye for detail. You will be highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a genuine passion for process improvement. Above all, you will be an enthusiastic team player, ready to make a positive impact on TE Connectivity.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient process designs with a focus on quality and cost.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor production processes and optimize them to reduce costs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and propose solutions for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and document all process changes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Develop and provide training to personnel on process changes.
- Troubleshoot process issues and provide timely solutions.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies that can improve process performance.
