Quality and Reliability Engineering

TE Connectivity is looking for a talented Quality and Reliability Engineer to join our team and help ensure the highest levels of product quality and reliability. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality and process improvement, and has a strong combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills. The Quality and Reliability Engineer will use their expertise to assess and evaluate products, investigate and analyze issues, and develop and implement quality assurance plans. This individual must have a deep understanding of reliability engineering principles and best practices, and the ability to work independently to design and implement robust solutions.The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. They must have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance and/or reliability engineering, and a solid foundation in Six Sigma or equivalent quality management systems. Responsibilities:

1. Assess and evaluate products to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards.
2. Investigate and analyze issues to identify root causes and develop solutions.
3. Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
4. Use Six Sigma or equivalent quality management systems to measure and improve product quality.
5. Monitor product performance and provide technical support to internal teams.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
7. Prepare reports and keep detailed records of product performance data.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in quality and reliability engineering.
9. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
10. Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
