Manager Procurement

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute procurement strategies for Tata Steel that will create the greatest value for the company.
2. Negotiate procurement activities to ensure the most cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services.
3. Analyze data and identify solutions to procurement-related problems.
4. Develop and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality of goods and services.
5. Monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are being met.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in the procurement space.
7. Ensure compliance to all applicable laws and regulations regarding procurement.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the procurement process.
9. Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
10. Prepare and present reports to present procurement activities and results.
