Legal Counsel - Litigation & Investigations

At Tata Consultancy Services, we are looking for a skilled Legal Counsel - Litigation & Investigations who will be responsible for providing advice and expertise on all legal matters related to litigation, arbitration, and investigations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legal landscape and be adept at navigating complex legal issues.We are looking for someone who has a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, at least five years of experience as a practicing attorney, and a strong background in litigation, arbitration, and investigations. The candidate should also have experience in Corporate Law, and be knowledgeable in relevant laws and regulations.The successful candidate will be an excellent problem solver and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will be able to handle multiple tasks and have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and advise on complex legal issues related to litigation, arbitration, and investigations.
2. Provide advice and expertise on all legal matters related to Corporate Law.
3. Develop and implement legal strategies to support the organization’s objectives.
4. Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, including licensing, purchase, and service agreements.
5. Analyze legal documents and make recommendations accordingly.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Provide legal advice on potential risks and liabilities.
8. Prepare and manage litigation and arbitration cases.
9. Monitor and stay current on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
10. Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
11. Manage relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Maintain accurate records and files.
