As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently during your assigned shifts. - Oversee and manage daily operations during assigned shifts at Taco Bell, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including placing orders as needed.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and served according to company standards and recipes.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Responsible for cash management, including counting and depositing cash and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with other Shift Leads and management team to create and implement strategies for improving restaurant performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Act as a role model for team members, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling of team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
- Continuously seek opportunities for growth and development within the company.
- Represent the Taco Bell brand in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Previous Supervisory Experience: A Shift Lead At Taco Bell Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In The Food Service Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Handle Any Challenges That May Arise.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Shift Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Team Members, Customers, And Management. They Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Resolve Any Issues.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Handling Procedures: Taco Bell Puts A Strong Emphasis On Food Safety And Handling. A Shift Lead Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Procedures And Ensure That They Are Followed By All Team Members To Maintain The Highest Level Of Food Safety.
Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Taco Bell Is A Busy And Fast-Paced Restaurant, And A Shift Lead Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining A High Level Of Efficiency. This Includes Managing The Team, Handling Customer Inquiries, And Ensuring Food Is Prepared And Served In A Timely Manner.
Flexibility And Availability For Varying Shifts: Taco Bell Operates On A 24/7 Schedule, And A Shift Lead Should Be Available To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. They Should Also Be Flexible In Their Schedule To Cover Any Last-Minute Changes Or Call-Ins From Team Members.
