Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the success of our restaurant in [Location]. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring quality food and service, and driving sales and profitability.   1. Oversee all operations of the restaurant and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all areas, including kitchen, front-of-house, and customer service.
  2. Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  3. Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures and provide guidance and support when needed.
  4. Monitor and maintain the quality of food and service, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including creating and executing marketing initiatives and managing inventory and costs.
  6. Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
  7. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and analyze restaurant performance, including sales, costs, and customer feedback, and make necessary adjustments to achieve targets and meet company goals.
  9. Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety and labor laws.
  10. Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve restaurant goals and objectives, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and growth.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new ideas and strategies to enhance the restaurant's success.
  12. Maintain open and effective communication with the company's higher management and provide regular reports on restaurant performance and progress.
