Tax Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Tax Intern to join the dynamic and fast-paced Tax Team at T-Mobile. The ideal candidate for this position is an organized and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and develop their tax knowledge. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Tax Intern will be responsible for supporting the Tax team in tax compliance, research, and other special projects. Responsibilities: • Assist the Tax team with tax compliance, research, and other special projects. • Analyze financial and taxation data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of taxation regulations and laws. • Monitor changes in taxation regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team. • Prepare tax documents such as returns, reports, statements, and tax payments. • Assist with tax audits and troubleshoot potential problems. • Provide tax advice and guidance to other departments. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors. • Maintain accurate records and databases of taxes paid and received. • Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvement.
