Job Description

We at T-Mobile are looking for a motivated Tax Intern to join our team for the upcoming season! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain invaluable experience in the world of corporate taxes. As a Tax Intern, you will be responsible for helping to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws, as well as working with the tax team to provide advice and guidance to other departments within the organization.To be a successful candidate, you should have a passion for tax law and policy, as well as a desire to learn. You should have a good understanding of corporate taxes, and be comfortable working with large amounts of data. In addition, you should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws • Provide advice and guidance to other departments within the organization • Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws, regulations, and policies • Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings • Prepare and review tax returns • Prepare tax projections and supporting schedules • Assist with tax audits and inquiries • Research complex tax issues and provide solutions • Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tax authorities • Manage workload and prioritize tasks efficiently • Remain up to date with current trends and changes in the tax industry
