Job Description

At T-Mobile, we are looking for a Sr. Vendor Manager to join our team and help lead our strategic vendor relationships. This individual will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors to ensure the best possible service and value for our customers. The right person for this role will be highly analytical, organized, and able to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of developing and managing strategic vendor relationships and a deep understanding of vendor management best practices. To be successful in this role, the individual must be an excellent communicator, a strong negotiator, and possess the ability to think strategically while managing the day-to-day operations of the vendor management process. Additionally, this person must have a proven track record of successfully managing vendors and contracts, and be able to demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and evaluate potential vendors to ensure the best possible service and value for customers.
  2. Negotiate with vendors to ensure the best terms and conditions for services.
  3. Develop and manage strategic vendor relationships.
  4. Manage the day-to-day operations of the vendor management process.
  5. Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  6. Manage vendor contracts and agreements.
  7. Implement vendor management best practices.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  9. Monitor vendor performance and ensure that contracts are adhered to.
  10. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the vendor management process.
