Job Description

We at T-Mobile are looking for an experienced and dedicated Sr. Vendor Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be an innovative problem-solver with an eye for cost-effectiveness and a commitment to the highest standards of customer service. The Sr. Vendor Manager is responsible for managing relationships with vendors and evaluating vendors’ performance to ensure timely delivery, manage vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field and at least 5 years of vendor management experience. The successful candidate will have an extensive understanding of the supply chain process, experience with contract negotiations, and a proven track record of working with large, global vendors. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships with vendors and evaluate vendors’ performance to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Negotiate contracts with vendors.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  4. Ensure high standards of customer service and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Monitor and analyze the supply chain process.
  6. Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding vendor management.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with large, global vendors.
  8. Manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Remain current on industry trends and best practices in vendor management.
  10. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of vendor contracts.
