Job Description

As a Sr. Vendor Manager at T-Mobile, you will be a key contributor to the success of our organization by managing relationships and performance of our vendors. You will have the opportunity to ensure vendors' performance is in line with our business requirements and help drive the development of our long-term vendor partnerships. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional who brings a passion for service excellence and a drive for results.To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and have a proven track record of developing and managing relationships with vendors. You should also have an in-depth understanding of contract management, negotiations, and vendor performance management. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a similar role are required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring their performance meets or exceeds T-Mobile's business requirements.
  2. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  3. Monitor vendor performance, investigate and resolve any issues, and take corrective action as needed.
  4. Analyze relevant data and metrics to identify trends and areas of improvement.
  5. Prepare and present reports on vendor performance to upper management.
  6. Research and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to streamline vendor management processes.
  8. Manage and review vendor contracts to ensure terms and conditions are met.
  9. Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure T-Mobile remains competitive.
  10. Act as a liaison between vendors and internal departments to facilitate communication.
