Job Description

As an engineer on the SRE team, you’ll build capabilities that enable our team to ship code with ever-increasing speed, security, durability, and observability. Work in production systems and know how to safely navigate them. Experiment with ways to help our code run faster and improve its stability. Get your hands dirty on a high-performing SRE and systems architecture team. Support services before they go live by providing system design/architecture guidance, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Maintain services once live by measuring/monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. Improve engineering processes and tools to accelerate software development velocity. Maintain and continuously improve build tools and automation infrastructure.

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience deploying production grade systems within cloud and non-cloud environments.

  • 2 years of experience with Kubernetes (or similar) in distributed computing environments.

  • Solid knowledge of SDLC (VCS, code review, etc) and DevOps/SRE (CI/CD, telemetry, etc) principles.

  • 2 years of experience working with *nix operation systems and network (TCP/IP, routing, etc)

  • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
