Job Description

Oversee and signoff on Micro Focus Performance Center platform health, security, and updates to meet availability SLAs. You will evangelize, designs, development patterns, best practices, and adoption internally and externally. Evangelize best practices for software development to achieve highest quality, low coupling, and high cohesion. Architect and implement solutions for microservices to do self-service performance and scalability evaluation. Evaluate and adopt new development and performance technologies. Work with multiple teams, lead engineers, architects, product managers, and stake holders to build and deliver the capabilities and features. Technically mentor, coach and provide training to peers. Translate business and functional requirements into stories that meet definition of ready. Develop and enforce acceptance criteria and definition of done for user stories and participate in sprint planning, scrums, demos, and retrospectives.

Job Qualifications

  • Expertise (7+ years hands-on experience) in Performance Engineering duties and platforms

  • Expertise in one of these technologies: NodeJS, Typescript, Mongoose, MongoDB, Mocha, Istanbul, Azure, AWS, CosmosDB

  • Strong understanding of OS fundamentals (Linux/Windows/Mac).

  • Experience implementing and working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Test Driven Development(TDD).

  • Experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
