• Provide expert legal guidance and support to the Human Resources team on all employment-related matters, including but not limited to hiring, terminations, discrimination, harassment, and employee benefits.
• Stay up-to-date on all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensure the company's policies and practices are compliant.
• Review and draft employment-related documents, such as employment contracts, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide sound recommendations and solutions for complex employment law issues.
• Collaborate with other legal team members and external counsel to ensure consistency and alignment in legal advice and strategies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and managers on employment law compliance.
• Advise on and assist with investigations into employee complaints and potential legal claims.
• Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures related to employment law.
• Support the company's diversity and inclusion initiatives by providing legal guidance on equal employment opportunity compliance.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employment law matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation related to employment law.
