Job Description

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join the Swisscom team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and monitoring our company’s IT systems and infrastructure. If you have a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving, this could be the job for you.To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering, as well as a working knowledge of network architecture, system design, and cloud computing. Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash is a plus.You must also be a strong communicator and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, manage, and monitor the company’s IT systems and infrastructure.
  2. Troubleshoot and identify solutions to system issues.
  3. Manage and maintain system security by monitoring and responding to threats.
  4. Develop and implement system policies and procedures.
  5. Create and maintain system documentation.
  6. Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of services.
  7. Work collaboratively with other departments and personnel to ensure system efficiency.
  8. Perform system upgrades and patch management.
  9. Conduct training and provide technical support to users.
  10. Research and recommend innovative solutions for system improvement.
