DevOps Engineer – Elasticsearch
We are looking for a passionate and highly experienced DevOps Engineer – Elasticsearch to join our fast-paced DevOps team at Swisscom. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters, as well as a strong understanding of DevOps and automation tools. As a DevOps Engineer – Elasticsearch, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, scalability and security of our Elasticsearch clusters.To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge of the Elasticsearch platform, as well as experience in developing and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters. You will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to tackle complex challenges with resourcefulness and creativity. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of software development processes and be able to work collaboratively with other teams.We’re looking for someone with a passion for DevOps and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Elasticsearch clusters
- Ensure performance, reliability, scalability and security of Elasticsearch clusters
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Elasticsearch clusters
- Develop, implement and maintain DevOps and automation tools
- Monitor system performance and health
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integration of services
- Implement software development processes
- Remain up to date on emerging technologies
- Analyze customer requirements and design solutions accordingly
- Support testing and deployment of applications
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and procedures
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field
Python
Knowledge Of Scripting Languages Such As Bash
In-Depth Knowledge Of Elasticsearch And The Elk Stack
Hands-On Experience With Docker And Kubernetes
