Data Center Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Engineer to join the Swisscom team. You’ll need to bring strong technical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the data center infrastructure and ensuring the highest degree of availability and security.You’ll need to have a strong background in systems engineering and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. We’re looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, who is also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and monitor data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
2. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues.
3. Implement system upgrades and security patches.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve data center issues.
5. Develop and implement strategies to improve data center performance.
6. Monitor system performance, including disk space and memory usage.
7. Design, configure, and test new hardware and software solutions.
8. Provide technical support to customers and other departments.
9. Develop and maintain documentation for data center operations.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
