
Quality Inspector
At Swatch Group, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to quality. An understanding of best practices and industry standards is essential. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of production parts and components. Duties will include examining materials, products, and assemblies to ensure conformity to specifications, inspecting incoming materials for defects, and verifying that product meets quality standards. The Quality Inspector must also be able to identify and document non-conforming parts.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least two years of experience in a quality or production environment. A certification or diploma in Quality Assurance is preferred. An understanding of manufacturing processes, mathematics, and ISO standards is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify the quality of production parts and components to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Examine materials, products, and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and document any non-conforming parts.
- Maintain records of inspection results.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety and quality assurance regulations and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Track and monitor quality trends to ensure continuous improvement.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the relevant department.
- Provide feedback to management on process improvement opportunities.
