As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care by providing education and training to our perioperative nursing staff.   1. Develop and implement educational programs and training materials for perioperative nursing staff in accordance with evidence-based practices and organizational standards.
  2. Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps among perioperative nursing staff and develop targeted education plans to address those gaps.
  3. Collaborate with the perioperative leadership team to ensure that education and training initiatives align with the department's goals and priorities.
  4. Deliver engaging and effective educational sessions to perioperative nursing staff, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and technologies.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve learning outcomes.
  6. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for perioperative nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  7. Stay informed about current trends and advancements in perioperative nursing and incorporate this knowledge into educational programs.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that education and training initiatives are coordinated and consistent.
  9. Maintain accurate records of education and training activities and provide reports to leadership as needed.
  10. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical education and leadership.
  11. Serve as a role model for perioperative nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  12. Act as a liaison between the perioperative department and external educational resources, fostering partnerships and collaborations to support staff development.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in the delivery of educational programs.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with staff and patients.
  15. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including staff, leadership, and external partners, to promote a positive and productive learning environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current Rn License In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Perioperative Nursing Experience

  • Certification In Perioperative Nursing (Cnor) Preferred

  • Previous Experience In Teaching Or Developing Educational Programs For Healthcare Professionals
