Transportation Freight Coordinator

Conducts dispatch operations of fruit and citrus products to the different modes of transportation carriers. Coordinates with all Sunkist operating departments as well as Sunkist fresh fruit sales office personnel for the daily operations of outgoing and incoming shipments. Manages and monitors the day-to-day shipments of orders involving both inter and intra-state orders. Monitors export container delays at west coast terminals, along with free time while the container is out. Reviews weekly vessel schedules to ensure containers are in-gated prior to their cut dates. Establishes, monitors and maintain carrier operating authorities and up to date insurance policies. Monitors and utilizes the ERP system transportation processing features for proper handling of Sunkist company and sales office arranged transportation requests and instructions.
