Optometric Technician

Sunglass Hut is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a commitment to keeping Sunglass Hut’s optical dispensaries running efficiently, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for helping customers select frames, entering orders and measurements into our system, and other duties related to the running of our optical dispensaries.To be successful in this role, you must be a reliable team player, have a strong knowledge of optical products, and be able to work independently. A certification as an Optometric Technician is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Responsibilities:

1. Greet and interact with customers in a professional and pleasant manner.
2. Assist customers in selecting frames and entering orders and measurements into the system.
3. Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into our system.
4. Ensure accuracy of optical measurements.
5. Clean and maintain optical dispensaries.
6. Maintain knowledge of optical products and services.
7. Assist with training and mentoring new optometric technicians.
8. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of patient information.
9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
10. Maintain a professional and organized work environment.
