Optometric Technician

Sunglass Hut is searching for an organized and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and has experience with eye exams and optical dispensing. In this role, you will be responsible for providing our customers with excellent customer service and assisting with their optical needs.The successful Optometric Technician at Sunglass Hut will need to have the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid optician and/or optometric assistant license, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong customer service focus. Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers with optical needs, including eyewear selection and fitting.
2. Provide patients with information on eyewear and lens options, as well as pricing.
3. Maintain accurate records on customer information and optical measurements.
4. Monitor stock levels of optical frames and lenses.
5. Assist with ordering new frames and lenses as needed.
6. Conduct eye exams and consultations with patients.
7. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
9. Resolve customer complaints or questions in a timely and professional manner.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
