Job Description

We are looking for an Optometric Technician to join our Sunglass Hut team in providing exceptional customer service and excellent eye care to our customers. The ideal candidate will be an organized individual with excellent customer service skills and a passion for eyewear. The Optometric Technician will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, interpreting prescriptions, and providing customers with the highest level of eyecare.To be successful in this role, the Optometric Technician should have a diploma or degree in optometric technology, experience in the eyecare field, and a valid optometric technician license. Furthermore, the Optometric Technician should be an excellent communicator with a professional attitude and a customer-oriented approach. An eye for detail and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest eyewear trends is also essential. If you possess these qualifications and have a passion for eyecare, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive eye care services to customers, including interpreting prescriptions and helping customers select the right eyewear.
  2. Maintain optometric records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Ensure that all customer inquiries are answered in a professional and timely manner.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest eyewear trends and products.
  5. Ensure that safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
  6. Assist in any other duties as assigned by management.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Work with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
