Optician

We are currently seeking an experienced Optician to join our team at Sunglass Hut! Our ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, an eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have a professional certification as an Optician, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers to the store, assess their needs, and help them select the best sunglasses to suit their style and needs.
2. Provide expert advice and recommendations on frames, lenses, and eyewear accessories.
3. Measure customers' faces to ensure proper fit of eyewear and contact lenses.
4. Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and other optical products.
5. Dispense and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical products.
6. Ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
7. Review and process insurance claims and other payment information.
8. Maintain accurate records and filing systems for customer orders and other information.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
10. Maintain current knowledge of optical products and industry trends.
11. Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty.
