- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain for Sunglass Hut, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are available for timely delivery to stores.
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing orders.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and increase efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Train and manage a team of logistics coordinators to support day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Continuously monitor and address any issues or delays in the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery to stores.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in logistics technology to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of supply chain activities and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan to mitigate any potential disruptions to the supply chain.
- Uphold Sunglass Hut's brand standards and values, while representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Logistics Management, Preferably In The Retail Industry.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Address Potential Supply Chain Issues.
Proficient In Inventory Management And Tracking Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
