Lab Technician

We at Sunglass Hut are looking for an experienced and reliable Lab Technician to join our team! As a Lab Technician, you’ll be responsible for developing and testing new eyewear products and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem solving abilities, as well as a passion for the eyewear industry. If you’re ready to take on this exciting opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as engineering or optics, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. You should be familiar with optical testing equipment and have a good understanding of the design and manufacturing of eyewear products. Responsibilities: -Develop and test new eyewear products to ensure they meet highest quality standards -Utilize optical testing equipment to ensure accuracy of eyewear products -Analyze eyewear product designs and inspect optical components -Conduct research to evaluate new product designs and materials -Collaborate with other lab technicians, engineers, and designers to review and improve product designs -Maintain accurate records of tests and analysis results -Provide support and advice to other departments on testing procedures -Identify and troubleshoot any issues with eyewear products -Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
