  1. Develop and maintain the next generation of our orchestration platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practices.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
  5. Continuously research and learn about new technologies and industry trends to improve our product.
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  8. Actively contribute to the improvement of our development processes and practices.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to the project.
  11. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and techniques in software development.
  12. Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills.
  13. Take ownership of tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
  14. Work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning and estimation.
  15. Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of bug-free software.
  16. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  17. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our product and processes.
  18. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment within the engineering team.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Programming Skills: A Software Engineer For Orchestration At Stripe Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Go. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Scalable Code To Develop And Maintain The Orchestration Systems.

  • Experience With Distributed Systems: Stripe Operates At A Large Scale, And As Such, The Orchestration System Must Be Able To Handle A High Volume Of Requests. Candidates Should Have Experience Designing And Implementing Distributed Systems To Ensure High Availability And Fault Tolerance.

  • Knowledge Of Containerization And Orchestration Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Containerization Technologies Such As Docker And Kubernetes. They Should Also Have Experience With Orchestration Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef To Automate Deployments And Manage Infrastructure.

  • Familiarity With Cloud Computing: Stripe Runs Its Infrastructure In The Cloud, So A Software Engineer For Orchestration Should Have A Good Understanding Of Cloud Platforms Like Aws, Gcp, Or Azure. They Should Also Have Experience With Provisioning And Deploying Applications In The Cloud.

  • Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: As With Any Engineering Role, A Software Engineer For Orchestration Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Abilities. They Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Issues, Even Under Pressure, To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of The Orchestration System.
