Job Description

At Stella McCartney, we are looking for a creative and passionate Textile Researcher to join our team. You will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and developing innovative materials and processes that will enable us to create beautiful, sustainable, and timeless pieces. To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Textile Science or a related field, as well as extensive experience in the textile industry. You should also have a deep understanding of the latest trends in sustainable materials and a passion for creating lasting garments.As a Textile Researcher at Stella McCartney, you will be a crucial part of our design team and have the opportunity to make a real impact on the fashion industry. Responsibilities:

-Research and source innovative materials and processes for the Stella McCartney design team -Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in sustainable materials -Develop new materials and processes that will enable us to create beautiful, sustainable, and timeless pieces -Collaborate with the design team to create lasting garments -Maintain a deep understanding of textile science and the textile industry -Ensure that all materials and processes are sustainable and comply with company standards -Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement -Track and record all research and development activities -Present findings and recommendations to the design team
