
Product Development Assistant
Stella McCartney is looking for a passionate and driven Product Development Assistant with an eye for detail who is ready to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in product development and production, as well as a creative flair that will help bring our designs to life. If you are excited to work in a fast-paced luxury fashion environment and have the qualifications and skills we’re looking for, we want to hear from you!The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years’ experience in product development and production, a creative flair, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. A strong understanding of garment construction, quality assurance, and the production process is essential. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable navigating software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM/ERP systems. We are looking for someone who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, is an excellent problem solver, and is able to take initiative when needed. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product development and production plans that meet the needs of the company.
- Monitor and control product development and production processes.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and PLM/ERP systems to create designs and manage data.
- Ensure that quality assurance standards are maintained.
- Source materials and components for product development and production.
- Monitor production costs and ensure that orders are delivered on time.
- Act as a liaison between the design and production teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure that all safety and legal regulations are adhered to.
- Assist with the design and development of new products.
