At State Street, we are looking for an experienced and talented Vendor Management professional to join our team. The Vendor Management role requires an individual who is organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all vendors and supplier relationships for the business.The ideal candidate is someone who has a thorough understanding of vendor management best practices and processes. They must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in vendor management in a corporate setting and have a track record of success in creating and maintaining relationships with vendors. The candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of contract and negotiation strategies, as well as the ability to effectively assess and manage vendors’ performance. They must also be able to identify new vendors and develop long-term relationships with them as well as maintain existing vendor relationships. - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
