Software Quality Assurance

At State Street, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated tests to ensure that software is meeting the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in software quality assurance. Additionally, you should possess strong problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies. Responsibilities:

-Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests to ensure software is meeting the highest standards of quality -Troubleshoot and identify solutions for software issues -Perform functional and non-functional tests on software products -Perform regression testing when new software versions are released -Work with developers to ensure software is being developed with quality in mind -Document and track software defects -Provide timely feedback to the development team -Keep up to date on the latest software testing trends and technologies -Collaborate with other teams to ensure a high-quality deliverable -Provide regular updates to the project manager on testing progress
