Mainframe zOS RACF Engineer

State Street is looking for an experienced and collaborative Mainframe z/OS RACF Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mainframe security solutions to protect the integrity and availability of our corporate data.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mainframe Security Engineer who is highly knowledgeable in z/OS security concepts, RACF and ACF2 Command Language (CL) programming. You should have excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.If you have technical expertise in Mainframe Security Architecture, System Administration, and Systems Programming, and have a passion for safeguarding corporate data, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement mainframe security solutions to protect corporate data integrity and availability
• Maintain and update existing security architectures
• Develop and modify RACF and ACF2 Command Language (CL) programs
• Monitor system security and respond to any suspicious activity
• Proactively identify security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
• Work closely with other members of the team to ensure security protocols are being followed
• Provide technical and procedural guidance to other team members
• Investigate and resolve security issues raised by users
• Prepare and implement security policies and procedures
• Stay abreast of industry trends and new security technologies
