Job Description

At State Street, we are looking for an Assistant Vice President of Liquidity Risk to join our team. We are looking for an individual who will be passionate about our mission and values, and dedicated to making an impact on the success of our organization.The successful candidate should possess a strong financial and liquidity risk background, as well as prior experience in a similar role. This individual should be a creative problem solver with an ability to think outside of the box, and the capability to develop and execute strategies to help the company reach its goals. In addition, the candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work well with tight deadlines.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field, and have at least five years of experience in a liquidity risk management or related role. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and organizational skills. The Assistant Vice President of Liquidity Risk must be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve success. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to help the company reach its goals.
  2. Monitor and manage liquidity risk.
  3. Analyze financial and liquidity risk data and make recommendations on risk strategies.
  4. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to liquidity risk management.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of strategies.
  6. Create reports and presentations for senior management on liquidity risk management.
  7. Identify potential liquidity risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Stay up to date on emerging trends and developments in the liquidity risk management field.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  10. Provide training and guidance to team members on liquidity risk management strategies and processes.
