  1. Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on global market and treasury activities for State Street.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision making.
  4. Review and negotiate complex financial transactions and contracts.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues to identify and address legal needs.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to global markets and treasury.
  7. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential legal issues.
  8. Manage and oversee outside counsel as needed.
  9. Communicate legal advice and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior management.
  10. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients.
  11. Mentor and supervise junior legal team members.
  12. Represent State Street in legal proceedings related to global market and treasury activities.
  13. Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
  14. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  15. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Corporate Law, With A Focus On Global Markets And Global Treasury.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Regulations And Compliance Requirements In Multiple Jurisdictions.

  • Proven Track Record Of Providing Strategic Legal Advice And Support To Senior Management In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
