- Develop and implement a comprehensive forecasting and strategy plan for the company, in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to inform forecasting and strategic decision making.
- Lead a team of analysts to gather and analyze data, and generate accurate and timely forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the forecasting and strategy plan, and make adjustments as needed to ensure its success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in forecasting and strategy, and incorporate new techniques and tools into the company's approach.
- Communicate complex financial data and forecasts to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the forecasting and strategy team.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their forecasting and strategic thinking skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external partners and stakeholders to gather insights and stay informed about market trends.
- Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for the company and develop contingency plans accordingly.
- Monitor and manage the budget for the forecasting and strategy department.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Extensive Experience In Financial Forecasting: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Financial Forecasting Techniques And Methodologies. This Includes Experience In Building And Maintaining Complex Financial Models, Analyzing Data And Identifying Trends, And Making Accurate Predictions About Future Market Conditions.
Strong Strategic Thinking Skills: The Vice President Of Forecasting And Strategy At State Street Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Long-Term Strategic Plans For The Company.
