
Data Engineer – Treasury and Regulatory Reporting
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Data Engineer – Treasury and Regulatory Reporting to join the State Street team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure and processes necessary to generate the necessary treasury and regulatory reports. You must possess excellent technical skills, keen problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of the complexities of treasury and regulatory reporting.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Furthermore, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining data infrastructure and processes and have a deep understanding of treasury and regulatory reporting. You must also have experience with various databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL; experience with ETL processes; and have a strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Java, etc.).The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the data infrastructure and processes necessary to generate treasury and regulatory reports.
- Utilize various databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL to ensure accuracy and efficiency of treasury and regulatory report generation.
- Implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Create scripts in scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc. to automate processes and generate reports.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data issues to ensure reports are accurate and timely.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide technical support to internal and external teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes and data.
- Remain up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends related to treasury and regulatory reporting.
