  1. Develop and implement counterparty credit risk management strategies and policies for the organization.
  2. Monitor and assess counterparty credit risk exposure for client portfolios on an ongoing basis.
  3. Identify and evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities in client portfolios and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
  4. Conduct thorough credit risk analyses on potential and existing counterparties, utilizing various financial models and tools.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Communicate credit risk assessments and recommendations to senior management and clients.
  7. Continuously monitor and analyze financial market trends and developments to identify potential risks to the organization.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, clients, and other stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in credit risk management practices and incorporate them into the organization's strategies.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on credit risk management techniques and best practices.
  11. Conduct periodic stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the organization's overall credit risk exposure.
  12. Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to improve credit risk management processes and systems.
  13. Draft and present reports on credit risk management activities and outcomes to senior management and regulatory agencies.
  14. Respond promptly and effectively to any credit risk incidents or breaches.
  15. Continuously review and improve the organization's credit risk management framework to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Counterparty Credit Risk Management: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Counterparty Credit Risk Management Principles And Processes, Including Credit Analysis, Exposure Measurement, And Risk Mitigation Techniques.

  • Risk Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Risk Management Role, Preferably In Counterparty Credit Risk. This Experience Should Include Managing Credit Risk Exposure, Developing Risk Strategies, And Implementing Risk Management Policies And Procedures.

  • Financial Industry Knowledge: A Counterparty Credit Risk Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Financial Industry, Including Different Types Of Financial Products, Market Trends, And Regulatory Requirements. This Knowledge Will Help Them To Effectively Assess And Monitor The Credit Risk Of Counterparties.

  • Analytical Skills: This Role Requires Strong Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Analyze Complex Financial Data And Make Informed Decisions Based On Risk Assessments. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience Working With Risk Management Tools And Models.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Counterparty Credit Risk Manager, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate Complex Risk Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Clients, And Regulators. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Effectively Managing Risk.
