Job Description

State Street is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Compliance team. As our Corporate Compliance team member, you will be responsible for ensuring State Street meets all applicable laws and regulations. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a compliance-related role. Additionally, you must have a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and experience with regulatory compliance requirements. If you thrive in an environment of collaboration and you are passionate about ensuring that State Street is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, this role may be a great fit for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor State Street’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
  3. Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Facilitate and assist with internal audit reviews.
  5. Assist with the implementation of corrective action plans, as necessary.
  6. Prepare and submit regulatory filings.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  8. Maintain records of compliance-related activities.
  9. Liaise with external regulatory bodies, as necessary.
  10. Participate in internal training and education sessions.
