  1. Develop and implement effective training programs that align with the current workforce development needs of the state of Virginia.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of labor market trends to identify areas of high demand for skills and training.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including employers, educational institutions, and community organizations, to identify and address workforce development challenges.
  4. Design and deliver training workshops, seminars, and other learning initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals seeking employment or career advancement.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure they are meeting the needs of the target audience.
  6. Provide individualized career coaching and guidance to individuals, helping them identify their strengths and career goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
  7. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in workforce development to continuously improve training programs.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with employers to understand their workforce needs and develop training programs that align with their requirements.
  9. Collaborate with other workforce development professionals and agencies to share resources and best practices.
  10. Maintain accurate records and reports on training programs, participant progress, and outcomes to support program evaluation and improvement.
  11. Act as a liaison between the state government and community organizations to support and promote workforce development initiatives.
  12. Attend conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry developments and enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of workforce development programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Workforce Development Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Workforce Development Programs And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With A Diverse Group Of Individuals And Organizations.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting, As Well As Experience With Workforce Development Software And Systems.
