
ServSafe Adjunct Instructor

- Conduct ServSafe training programs: As a ServSafe Adjunct Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct training programs on food safety and ServSafe principles for individuals in the hospitality industry.
- Utilize your expertise: You will be expected to use your extensive knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry to effectively educate and train individuals on proper food handling and preparation techniques.
- Develop and deliver educational materials: You will be responsible for developing and delivering educational materials, such as presentations, handouts, and other resources, to assist in the training process.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations: It will be your responsibility to ensure that all training programs are in compliance with state regulations and guidelines for food safety and ServSafe principles.
- Create a positive learning environment: You will be expected to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all participants, utilizing different teaching methods and techniques to effectively convey information.
- Provide individualized support: As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and guidance to participants, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the training program.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments: It will be your responsibility to stay up-to-date with industry developments and updates in food safety and ServSafe principles to ensure that training programs are current and relevant.
- Collaborate with team members: You will work closely with other team members to ensure the success of training programs and to continuously improve the training process.
- Promote safe and healthy food practices: You will be responsible for promoting safe and healthy food practices among participants, emphasizing the importance of food safety in the hospitality industry.
- Maintain accurate records: It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate records of training programs, including attendance, evaluations, and any other necessary documentation.
A Current Servsafe Certification At The Instructor Or Proctor Level.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Foodservice Operations, With A Focus On Food Safety And Sanitation.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Engage Adult Learners.
Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Food Safety Regulations, As Well As Familiarity With The Servsafe Curriculum.
Prior Experience As A Servsafe Instructor Or Proctor, Preferred.
