Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Science-Related Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Or Environmental Science.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Scientific Concepts To A General Audience.

  • Strong Understanding Of Current Science Communication Strategies And Techniques, Including Social Media And Multimedia Platforms.

  • Demonstrated Interest In And Knowledge Of Current Scientific Research And Discoveries, Particularly Those Relevant To The State Of Virginia.

  • Previous Experience In Science Communication, Either Through Internships, Volunteer Work, Or Coursework, Is Preferred But Not Required.
