  • Conduct initial intake interviews with individuals placed on probation, gathering information about their background, criminal history, and current situation
  • Develop and implement individualized supervision plans for each probationer, taking into account their specific needs and risks
  • Monitor and track probationers' compliance with court-ordered conditions, such as drug testing, community service, and restitution
  • Conduct regular home visits and meet with probationers in the community to ensure compliance and provide support and guidance
  • Collaborate with community resources and service providers to connect probationers with necessary resources, such as housing, employment, and treatment programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, including progress reports and documentation of any violations or concerns
  • Prepare and present reports to the court on the progress and compliance of probationers
  • Work closely with law enforcement, court personnel, and other criminal justice agencies to coordinate efforts and ensure public safety
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary, including responding to emergency situations outside of regular work hours
  • Attend trainings and stay up-to-date on relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to probation and rehabilitation efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of One Year Of Experience Working In A Criminal Justice Setting Or With At-Risk Populations.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Probation And Parole.

  • Ability To Communicate Effectively And Professionally With Clients, Colleagues, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Effectively Manage A Caseload And Meet Deadlines.
