
Probation Officer

- Monitor and supervise individuals on probation to ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions.
- Conduct regular check-ins and home visits to assess progress and provide support.
- Collaborate with other agencies and community resources to create individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and progress reports.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals as they navigate the challenges of reintegration into society.
- Enforce consequences for violations of probation terms and make recommendations for modifications to the court.
- Attend court hearings and provide testimony as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for individuals deemed to be high-risk.
- Coordinate and facilitate educational and rehabilitative programs for individuals on probation.
- Serve as a liaison between individuals on probation and their families, employers, and other support systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to probation and parole.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Foster positive relationships with individuals on probation and their families to promote successful reintegration.
- Collaborate with fellow Probation Officers and other department staff to ensure the overall success of the department's mission.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Probation, Parole, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Probation And Community Supervision.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work With Diverse Populations.
Ability To Effectively Manage A Caseload, Prioritize Tasks, And Maintain Accurate Records.
