  1. Provide compassionate and efficient healthcare services to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Assist with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, monitoring patient status, and assisting with daily living tasks.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient information and care provided.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  6. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ensure a welcoming and positive environment for patients and their families.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  8. Continuously educate and update yourself on new healthcare practices and technologies to provide the highest quality care.
  9. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and perform life-saving techniques as necessary.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions.
  12. Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to patient care.
  14. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For A Pct/Cna/Emt Job At The State Of Virginia Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification.

  • Certification/License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Cna Or Emt Certification From An Accredited Program In The State Of Virginia.

  • Cpr/Bls Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Current Cpr/Bls Certification To Be Eligible For A Pct/Cna/Emt Job At The State Of Virginia.

  • Experience: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred For This Position, With A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Pct, Cna Or Emt.

  • Physical And Mental Fitness: The Candidate Must Be Physically And Mentally Fit To Perform The Duties Of A Pct/Cna/Emt, As This Job Requires Manual Dexterity, Lifting And Moving Patients, And Working In Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environments. A Physical Examination May Be Required As Part Of The Application Process.
