- Stay up-to-date with current events and developments in the field of political science to incorporate into lesson plans and discussions.

- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in course content and grading.

Advanced Degree In Political Science: A Lecturer In Political Science At State Of Virginia Should Possess At Least A Master's Degree In Political Science, With Preference Given To Candidates With A Ph.d. In The Subject.
Teaching Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Teaching Experience In Political Science At The College Or University Level. Previous Experience In Curriculum Development And Online Teaching Would Be An Added Advantage.
Knowledge Of Virginia Politics: As A Lecturer In Political Science At State Of Virginia, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of The State's Political Landscape, Including Its History, Current Issues, And Key Players.
