- Develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including creating job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Manage the onboarding and orientation process for new employees, ensuring they have a positive and smooth transition into the organization.
- Coordinate and conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and training records.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, and workplace safety regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and assist employees with any related inquiries or issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
- Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs, performance management, and employee development opportunities.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns, and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics, such as employee turnover and retention rates, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead and/or participate in special projects or initiatives related to human resources as assigned by senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In An Hr Role, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting
Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Laws, Regulations, And Policies
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Individuals And Teams
Certification In Human Resources, Such As Shrm-Cp Or Phr, Is Preferred But Not Required
