- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for GENEDGE.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals in the manufacturing and economic development fields.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote GENEDGE's services and impact.
- Develop and oversee programs and initiatives aimed at helping small and medium-sized manufacturers in Virginia improve their competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze economic trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the manufacturing sector.
- Work closely with the Executive Director to manage budget and resources effectively in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide support and guidance to staff members in project management and execution.
- Represent GENEDGE at industry events, conferences, and other public speaking engagements to promote the organization's mission and impact.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify and pursue funding opportunities to support GENEDGE's initiatives and services.
- Stay informed about state and federal policies and regulations related to manufacturing and economic development, and provide recommendations for advocacy and action.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members and provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including staff members, industry partners, and government officials, to promote GENEDGE's mission and impact.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in all aspects of GENEDGE's operations.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and dedication to GENEDGE's mission and values.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Organizational Leadership And Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.
Extensive Knowledge Of The Manufacturing Industry In Virginia, Including Current Trends, Challenges, And Opportunities.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Experience In Strategic Planning, Financial Management, And Project Management.
