  9. Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to improve counseling skills and knowledge.
  11. Provide education and resources to individuals in crisis and their families.
  12. Promote a positive and supportive environment for individuals in crisis.
  13. Follow all state and organizational guidelines and procedures.
  14. Maintain accurate and timely records of counseling sessions and other required documentation.
  15. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the best care for individuals in crisis.
  16. Represent the organization and the state of Virginia in a professional and positive manner.
  17. Participate in outreach and awareness efforts to educate the community about mental health and crisis intervention.
  18. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when working with individuals in crisis.
  19. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  20. Provide crisis counseling services with cultural competency and sensitivity towards diverse populations.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
